Why the name “Veggia Bottega”- “ Old Shop” for the apartments?
A return to tradition! The choice of this name, which comes from the Ligurian dialect, was picked by its owner, Nicola Costanzo, so no one would forget that this establishment was once, from the early 70’s to the late 90’s, and now, completely restored, a small grocery store which was, and still is very characteristic and popular in small Italian villages.
In the vast garden, now like yesterday, the land is a host to a large choice of fresh vegetables, that at one time was sold on the very shelves of this small shop for the inhabitants of Diano Borganzo and, now, are grown and used by the family of the owner of this small bed and breakfast.
And, to make your stay more pleasant and exclusive, one must not forget the beautiful Ligurian surroundings, such as the vast olive tree groves of the“taggiasche” olives, from which is made the renowned and prestigious extra virgin olive oil, recognized internationally as “the king of the table”.
In this small bed in breakfast, family owned and operated, what we try to offer for our clients is a mix of Italian traditions and a touch of something new, also hospitality and the possibility to let yourself relax completely surrounded by the magnificent tranquility of the northern Ligurian country side.
And, in less than five minutes by car, you can find yourself on the breathtaking and famous beaches of Diano Marina, only 5 km in distance, the third most visited beachs in Liguria.

“Arancia” and “Pietra” is the name that we’ve decided to give the two rooms in our bed and breakfast. It’s not simply from fantasy, its more from the emotions and sensations that one feels when entering the rooms, their colors but, especially, from the warmth and happiness they both offer.

“Orange” is simple and comfortable, with a large terrace, the colors of the room are made up of warm tones of yellow and orange that offer the client a tranquil and welcomed atmosphere.
The room “Stone” is more particular, in which > its principal characteristics is a arch inside the room, worked and painted, such as its name, in “Pietra”, while the other walls are painted in spots of light pink.
Both rooms are elegant and original, both with a large bedroom, small kitchen, bathroom, satellite television, with the possibility of wireless internet and both have a wonderful panoramic view of the Ligurian country side. All these services are to welcome and satisfy the needs of all.
Garden & Pool
An amazing relaxing area with a swimming pool of 10×5 mt. and only 1 in depth. Around a gazebo and a large area with chairs and sunbeds. A big table and chairs for breakfast or break lunch and dinner. Dressing room and shawer.
Rates
Prices are per night per person: starting from € 45.00 in lower season to € 70.00 in higher season.
Prices are per apartment: starting from € 500,00 in lower season to € 1.000,00 in higher season.
The price is calculated based on the number of people.
